Powering Tomorrow with Bioenergy

Transforming organic waste into clean, renewable energy to create a sustainable future for our planet.

the pROBLEM

1. The Waste Crisis

Africa generates over 125 million tons of organic waste annually. Most of this ends up in overflowing landfills, contributing to environmental pollution and public health hazards.

2. Energy Poverty

In Tanzania, over 90% of the population still relies on firewood and charcoal for cooking. This dependency triggers a dangerous cycle

3. Rising Unemployment

As of 2022, 26% of Tanzanian youth are actively seeking work but remain unemployed. Without sustainable industries, this gap continues to widen, trapping communities in cycles of poverty.

mEASURABLE IMPACT

Our operations transform environmental challenges into socio-economic opportunities by bridging the gap between waste management and community prosperity. By implementing a circular economy model, we have successfully diverted over 120,000 tons of organic waste from landfills, upcycling this potential pollutant into valuable resources. This shift in waste handling has achieved a significant environmental milestone, preventing the release of more than 3,260 metric tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

The impact of Bramo Tech extends far beyond environmental metrics, rooting itself in the economic heart of Tanzania. Our operations have generated over 100 sustainable jobs, creating local employment and empowerment opportunities that provide a pathway out of poverty. Additionally, we are revitalizing the agricultural sector by supporting more than 300 farmers with high-quality bio-fertilizers, directly increasing crop yields and ensuring long-term food security and productivity for rural communities.
